Rune was very flexible, calm, and clear with his instructions, which made a huge difference for someone like me who was learning everything from scratch. He carefully chose routes that felt safe and enjoyable, explained our options clearly, and always made sure we were comfortable.
The panoramas were absolutely beautiful, and reaching the viewpoint was a special moment. The hike was easy and enjoyable, and coming down with the skis was surprisingly relaxing and fun.
What I appreciated the most was how attentive and thoughtful Rune was — you could really feel that his priority was for everyone to have a positive and memorable experience. I would absolutely recommend him 🥰

The Natural North takes full advantage of five unique paddle locations. This allows us to adapt to the best conditions for an ideal kayaking experience, especially for beginners.
The awe-inspiring peaks of Ånderdalen National Park and the sourrounding archipelagoes with remote beaches and lush islands is an incredible arena. Our guests consistently shared enthusiastic feedback about the joy of discovering them.
Our trip policy aims at a lower yield, but a bigger impact by lowering the guest count and increasing our time spent together and your chance to connect with nature. That's the key to quality experiences in a pristine, natural and wild landscape.

Das hat sich gelohnt. Wir hatten einen wundervollen Abend auf dem Fjord mit vielen Vögeln, 2 atemberaubenden Seeadlern!, und kristallklarem Wasser. Rune hat uns viele spannende Informationen mitteilen können. Er hat sogar einige Fotos und Videos von uns beim paddeln gemacht. Sehr cool!

LasseWe booked the Midnight Sun Tour with Rune. Due to weather conditions, we had to reschedule the tour, but the communication with Rune was fast and easy!
We had an excellent tour with him through the fjord into the sunset, with amazing views on the mountains and a little break with Kombuca by the lighthouse.
We also got some information about Senja, the Anderdålen National Park and the different animals, and Rune took videos and photos of us during the trip!
We will definitely come back for another tour in some time , it was simply amazing !

A few days in the traditional Culture Cabin is a true norwegian cabin-life experience. Shoreline fishing down the road, beach strolling in the morning, coffee on the porch, bonfire and sauna in the evenings - the list is long, and our guests have always left fully charged after their retreat back to nature.
Southern Senja with it's peninsulas is a paddle paradise of archipelagos, ancient pine forests, sandy beaches, and steep rock faces rising from roadless fjords. Here at the end of Senja, where no bridges or ferries go further, visitors come to slow down, breathe deep, and savour the wild Arctic coast

Since 2011 my guiding experience has taught me that the most memorable experiences arise when culture is combined with the right level of physical challenge and personal engagement, especially in small, intimate groups.
Combine a Culture Cabin Retreat with learning the art of harvesting from nature and cooking slowgrown wild dishes directly from the source. From fishing, kayaking, berry picking or sea weed harvesting we can supply our kitchen with real food, cook real dishes and then I'll let you off alone with the sauna on.

We had a WONDERFUL day ski touring with Rune, he took us up a mountain that had a beautiful view of multiple fjords. He was a great guide and teacher and we all had an incredible experience!! Would recommend to anybody looking to book backcountry ski touring in and around Tromsø 😄 Prices are very competitive too
