The activity is built around snorkeling in Arctic kelp forests, which are underwater ecosystems of large brown algae (often Laminaria hyperboreain Northern Norway). The “Guardians of the Kelp Forest” theme reflects a conservation-focused narrative: Guests are not just snorkeling, but learning about the ecological importance of kelp forests as habitats, carbon sinks, and participate in coastal protection by removing sea urchins.

Your guide is an experience freediver with a passion for creating memorable tours. You'll be taken well care of and the group size will never exceeed 6 people in order to keep safety within our margins.
Our wetsuits provide excellent bouyancy, so you don't need to worry about not floating. Balance in the water and breathing correctly through the snorkel is the first learning points, and is something 99% of our guests learn quite fast. We will never be too far from shore, so a break and rest is always possible.

We meet by Senja Roasters Cafè for a slow start and morning briefing. After this we drive maximum 20 minutes to the paddle location of the day. All guests must arrive by car.
